Publisher’s Description: Founded in 2001, I-70 Review, a diverse literary journal, is named for the interstate that runs through thirteen states but publishes work from writers all over America and overseas. We publish poetry, short fiction, flash fiction, memoir, creative nonfiction, and visual art by new and established writers and artists, including Pushcart Prize winners as well as state and national Poet Laureates.
Each issue features poets whose work touches the human spirit or surprises us with its fresh approach or style. Our goal is to offer readers a wide variety of styles, voices, and diversity. We like narrative, but we also celebrate the quirky and startlingly different. We nominate poets from each issue for the Pushcart Prize.
Our pages have held the writing of emerging poets to the well-established work of writers such as Ted Kooser, Denise Low, Linda Pastan, Gary Soto, Gary Finke, Alice Friman, Eric Pankey, and Chase Twichell.
Our team of editors are independent writers and artists who have the goal of publishing the best work that we receive.
